Help - Quick search

The Quick search on the home page allows you to quickly search all keywords in Film Indexes Online.

Note: Only the Index to Film Periodicals (Plus) from FIAF will be cross-searched. If you would like to search Treasures from Film Archives, Documentation Collections, FIAF Members' Publications, or the list of periodicals, please use the FIAF Index to Film Periodicals standalone product.

To conduct a search, type your required search terms (individual words or phrases) into the search box. When you have finished entering your search criteria, click Go!. The Search results page will display the results of your search.

You can combine search terms using Boolean and proximity searching, search for variations on search terms using truncation and specify exact matching.

Note: In the search box, all terms are treated by default as if they were combined using the Boolean operator AND.
